Flashing Ornament with Music
Project 1: Flashing Ornament

Goal
Make a holiday ornament that “twinkles” like lights on a tree.
Steps

On start: show a round ornament shape using Show LEDs

Add a forever loop:

Show ornament frame #2 (slightly different—add/remove a few LEDs to look like sparkle)

Level Up (optional)

Add Button A to change colors of sparkle patterns (just different LED frames)

Add a short sound when it twinkles (micro:bit v2 / simulator supports sound)

Flashing Ornament with Loops
Holiday Name Tag
Project 2: Holiday Name Tag
Time: 10–15 minutes
Skills: buttons, text, icons
Goal
Press buttons to switch between your name and a holiday icon.
Steps

Create a variable called myName and set it to your name

On Button A pressed: Show string myName

On Button B pressed: Show LEDs (choose one icon: star, tree, gift, heart)
Level Up (optional)

On A+B pressed: show “HAPPY” or “2026” (or your secret code name)
