Robotic Camp Online Membership Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: of Purchase

1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing or using any Robotic Camp Online membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any policies referenced here (collectively, the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the service.
2. Definitions
“Membership”: Paid subscription access to self-paced digital content (videos, printable workbooks, challenges, and related resources).

“Family Plan”: Membership intended for one household/family unit, subject to the limits in Section 6.

“Classroom Plan”: Membership intended for instructional use by a teacher/educator or organization, subject to seat and usage limits in Section 7.

“Content”: All videos, curriculum, worksheets, downloads, and materials provided through Robotic Camp Online.

3. What You Receive
Your Membership includes access to the Content available for your plan level during your active subscription term. Content may be updated, replaced, expanded, or removed over time. We do not guarantee any specific number of lessons or permanent availability of any specific item.
4. Hardware / Kits / Third-Party Purchases
Some activities may require hardware (e.g., micro:bit and compatible robotics components). Unless explicitly stated, hardware is not included in Membership fees and may be purchased separately through our store or a third-party provider. We are not responsible for third-party products, shipping delays, warranties, or pricing changes.
5. Billing, Auto-Renewal & Taxes (Applies to All Plans)
Auto-renewal: Your plan renews automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

Authorization: You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method for recurring fees at the then-current rate plus applicable taxes.

Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, or similar governmental assessments.

Price changes: We may change pricing with advance notice, which will apply on your next renewal.

6. Monthly Family Membership – Plan Rules
If you have a Monthly Family Membership, you receive access on a month-to-month basis.
Household Use & Account Sharing
Intended for use by members of a single household/family unit.

You may not share login credentials outside your household or allow others to access Content using your account.

Cancellation
You can cancel anytime via your portal link or email to: roboticcampinfo@gmail.com

Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

7. Annual Family Membership – Plan Rules
If you have an Annual Family Membership, you receive access for a one-year term paid upfront.
Household Use & Account Sharing
Same rules as Section 6 (single household/family unit).

Renewal & Cancellation
Your plan renews annually unless canceled before the renewal date.

If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the annual term.

8. Classroom Membership – Plan Rules
If you have a Classroom Membership, you may use Content for educational instruction within the limitations below.
Seat / Student Limits
Classroom Membership includes up to [40] students per term (or per school year) under one Classroom account.

Additional seats may require an upgrade or additional licensing.

Who May Use
Intended for use by one teacher/educator (or a designated manager) and the enrolled students.

Sharing outside the licensed classroom(s), school, or organization is prohibited unless you have written permission or an enterprise license.

School/Organization Purchases
If an organization is paying, you represent you are authorized to bind the organization to these Terms.
9. Refunds, Chargebacks & Non-Refundable Policy
Default policy (you choose the final version):
Monthly Family: Membership fees are non-refundable once charged. You may cancel to avoid future charges.

Annual Family: Annual fees are non-refundable after purchase, except where required by law.

Classroom: Classroom fees are non-refundable after purchase, except where required by law.

Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve an issue, we may suspend access while we investigate.
If you want a more customer-friendly option, I can rewrite this section as a “7-day satisfaction guarantee” or “refund only if no more than X% of content accessed.” Your call.
10. Account Registration & Security
You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Copy, record, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or publicly post Content.

Share downloads outside your permitted household/classroom license.

Circumvent access controls, scrape the site, or attempt unauthorized access.

Use the service for unlawful or harmful activity.

12. Intellectual Property
All Content is owned by Robotic Camp or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Membership grants a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use Content solely for your permitted personal/family/classroom use during an active subscription.
13. User Submissions (Optional)
If you upload, post, or submit content (photos, comments, project submissions), you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for operating and promoting the program only as described in our Privacy Policy. (If you do not want this, remove this section.)
14. Children’s Use & Parental/Teacher Responsibility
Robotic Camp Online is designed for educational use. If a child uses the service, the parent/guardian or teacher is responsible for supervision, safety, and appropriate use of hardware/tools. We do not provide childcare.
15. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific educational outcomes.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robotic Camp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits/data, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the [last 1 month / last 12 months] preceding the claim.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Robotic Camp from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
18. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, including account sharing or distributing Content. You will not be entitled to a refund in cases of suspension/termination for cause.
19. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
20. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
Governing law: North Carolina/USA, or law governs these Terms.
Venue: Courts located in Wake co/ North Carolina unless an alternative dispute process is selected below.
Optional arbitration clause (if you want it):
Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in [location], except small claims matters.
