Robotic Camp Junior (ages: 7-9)

Build, Play, Explore

This program explores the  basics of  Lego Robotics.  Students will learn how to build a strong and functional robot base while exploring the concepts of motion, force and the transfer on energy.  They will also learn basic programming functions in order to program their robot to perform various tasks.   Because this is a junior program, the campers will also enjoy building with Lego bricks to create a theme based set for their robotic counter parts.  They will also build friendships though various team work exercises designed to encouraging leadership and cooperation through out the week.  

Robotic Camp Seniors (ages: 10-13)

Design, Build, Program and Run

This program explores some of the advanced concepts  of  The Lego  Robotics.  Students will learn how to build a strong and functional  robot base while utilizing multiple attachments that can complete more then one task at a time.  They will also learn basic programming functions and how to use "my blocks " in order to program their robot to perform various tasks on the First Lego League competition board.  Students will work in teams of four to design, build and program their complex robots.  They will also build friendships though various team work exercises designed to encouraging leadership and cooperation through out the week.
